Iowa Basketball Coach: Steven Alford
Outstanding game by Deano Oliver, dare I say that the shooting touch may be back??
Jaacks had an Ok, game although he needs to tone it down a little he is going to get himself in trouble. Don't get me wrong I like him being offensive and abrasive at times but cool down!
18 points and 15 rebounds from Rob Griffin boy does that help him and his confidence, if only we could get him to do that on a more consistent basis.
Additionally I thought that Duez had a pretty good get-down and-dirty game tonight. He was always around the ball trying to get turnovers.
I hate to harp on trivial points but there was a couple of bad calls on fouls towards Lueh that may have meant the outcome of the game.
I will leave you with one final point, What does Marcelo Gomes do during practice?? Because he looked like he was trying to play field hockey(women's) out there tonight, you can thank Dr. Tom for him!!

This year the University of Iowa decided it was time to end the lackluster mediocre years of Dr. Tom Davis and step up and make a commitment to winning that the State of Iowa could be proud of. That my friends is why they hired Steve Alford.
